Golf club and organization management
Keep a golf club or regular group organized around its members and events. A Cartners organization gives your group a shared identity, membership and tournament schedule.
Build a home for the group
- Create or open an organization.
Add the organization’s name and description, choose the available privacy settings and review its details. Authorized managers can maintain the organization’s logo.
- Bring members in.
Use invitations and membership controls to manage the group. A pending invitation must be accepted before it becomes membership.
- Keep the schedule useful.
Review the organization’s tournaments by date or status. Open an event for its registration, pairings, scoring and results.
- Review settings as the group changes.
Update organization details and membership using the actions available to your role. Keep contact and event instructions current for your golfers.
Use the right record for each job
- Organization
- The club or group, its membership and its tournament schedule.
- League
- A continuing competition with members, linked events and season standings.
- Tournament
- An individual competition with its field, rounds, scorecards and results.
- Planning checklist
- Your own preparation tasks. Checking an item does not update the organization or an event.
Move event details out of scattered messages
You can still use a spreadsheet or printed plan for preparation. Use the saved organization, league and tournament records for the details participants need to find in Cartners. When a date or player list changes, update the relevant record and tell the affected golfers which version to use.
Organization membership and administrative permissions come from the service. Private details and management actions remain available only to the accounts allowed to use them.
